How do I clean Invisalign aligners?
- Rinse your aligners as soon as you take them out. We recommend that you soak your aligners in the Invisalign brand crystal cleaning solution every day to help remove bacteria and keep your aligners out-of-the-package fresh.
- Use a soft-bristled brush (not your daily toothbrush) to lightly sweep away any remaining debris after soaking.
- Rinse your aligners and put them back in your mouth.
How long do I wear each set of aligners?
Generally, you should wear your aligners for two weeks before changing to the next set, but because this varies by smile, you should follow our guidance. In some cases, for example, you might wear an aligner set for as little as a week before switching. Does Invisalign fit an active lifestyle?
Definitely, as long as you follow our guidance! You can wear your aligners during nearly any activity, removing them only for eating and cleaning.
